If you are having difficulty submitting on-line, please submit as per the following instructions: GUIDELINES FOR SUBMISSION OF ABSTRACTS Participants are welcome to submit abstracts in the areas listed below, but are not limited to those mentioned. Areas correspond to the IGU commission titles. Please indicate at the bottom of your abstract whether you would like to present your abstract within the framework of a commission, and indicate the name of the commission or in the main conference sessions. If you prefer to present your paper within the main conference sessions, kindly indicate one or more study area corresponding to the commission titles below, compatible with the context of your abstract. Abstracts will be sent for review and authors will be informed in due time whether their abstract/s have been accepted. Inclusion of abstracts in the scientific program and on the Disc of Abstracts is dependent on payment of registration fees. Abstracts should be submitted online as per the link above or via email to: geography@targetconf.com. If by email, the abstract should be saved as a Word document and sent as an attachment, please do not send as a PDF file. If using Word 2007, please save file as a document that can be opened in Word 2003.

- Title should be typed in UPPER CASE letters in bold and left aligned.
- Presenting author's name should be underlined and bolded
- Presenting author will be considered the contact person for all correspondence connected with this abstract unless alternate instructions are provided
- Author/s names and institution/s should be in upper and lower case
- If submitting more than one abstract, each abstract must be sent as a separate email or separate on-line submission. Please indicate that these are different abstracts
· No endnotes or frames are acceptable · Please note: Faxed abstracts will not be accepted Abstracts will be loaded onto the conference website once the program has been finalized and registration fees have been received from the presenting author. If you do not wish to have your abstract appear on the website, please indicate this on your abstract.
