CALL FOR PAPERS
IGU REGIONAL CONFERENCE
TEL AVIV, ISRAEL
COMMISSION ON LAND USE AND
COVER CHANGES (LUCC)
The International Geographical Union (IGU) will be holding its Regional Conference in Tel Aviv, Israel, July 12-16, 2010.
The IGU Commission on Land Use and Cover Changes will be holding sessions during the conference.
Participants are welcome to submit abstracts relevant to the Commission’s theme.
At the bottom of your abstract, please indicate that your abstract is for presentation during the sessions of the Commission on Land Use and Cover
Changes and whether your abstract is for oral or poster presentation.
Abstracts will be sent for review and authors will be informed in due time whether their abstract/s have been accepted.
Inclusion of abstracts in the scientific program and on the Disc of Abstracts is dependent on payment of registration fees.

Please note the following instructions for the preparation of abstracts:
Abstracts can be submitted either in English or French
Abstracts should contain no more than 300 words
Recommended font: Times New Roman, size 12pts. Do NOT use a smaller font size
Single spacing
Title should be typed in UPPER CASE letters in bold and left aligned.
Presenting author’s name should be underlined and bolded
Presenting author will be considered the contact person for all correspondence connected with this abstract unless alternate instructions are provided
Author/s names and institution/s should be in upper and lower case
If submitting more than one abstract, each abstract must be sent as a separate email or separate on-line submission.
Please indicate that these are different abstracts
No endnotes or frames are acceptable
Please note: Faxed abstracts will not be accepted
Abstracts will be loaded onto the conference website once the program has been finalized and registration fees have been received from the presenting author. If you do not wish to have your abstract appear on the website, please indicate this on your abstract.
